Oh, don’t know if you’re new to Va/Pers, but (for me) Bayou Morning packs a brass-knuckle punch... that’s oh so delightful!

I prefer McClelland’s Vanilla Black Cavendish, but Lane’s 1-Q is a good Aromatic too. Without question, the top selling Aromatic in the world.

Some people don’t react well with some Aromatic tobaccos. Chemical reaction or whatever.

I say try Seven Seas by Macbaren. It's basically Captain Black gourmet. Which Captain Black is the cheap-o 1-q. Also my favorite aromatic is Brebbia Allegro so I say check that one out.

Which one of the 7 Seas series would be the equivalent of 1-Q?

I've been having this itch to revisit 1-Q (how many of us didn't start out with that one?), but at $25 per ounce, I'm hesitant. I've been most unimpressed with Lane's offerings. I like HGL, and RPL-6 is OK, even BCA is fine when it doesn't leave me with that Big Chemical Aftertaste, but that's the thing: they're merely OK, not awesome.
